Website redesign — static mockups

Ten pages showing how the party’s content works in the new design. Everything here is real content taken from the current site, laid out in the agreed visual system. Nothing is connected to a CMS yet — these are for review and sign-off.

Two of the pages are working prototypes rather than pictures: the scheme tracker and the guided walkthrough both save your progress to your own device as you tick things off.

A few things worth knowing

Photography is placeholder

The striped panels are where real photographs go. The design assumes commissioned documentary photography of Donegal homes and the people involved — the current site has none, and that is a large part of why it reads as unfinished.

Progress is saved on your own device

The two interactive pages remember what you tick using your browser’s own storage. Nothing is sent anywhere, nobody else can see it, and there is a Reset button on both pages.

Content has been corrected in places

Typos in the current site’s headline copy are fixed here, and two steps of the application guide had another step’s text against them — those are written correctly in these mockups.
